Oct 22, 2018 · Coils covers are overrated. The can be difficult to place and remove, they can hold debris between the coil and cover, they can add unnecessary weight to your detector, ect. I have used several detectors over time and have used coil covers and have gone as manufactured. I have never broken a coil or worn through the original covering.

The best way to adjust the rears is to jack up the van, then undo the shocker bolt to the arm, this will allow the arm to be pulled/levered down, at this point you can remove the spring and adjuster assembly and adjust the height off the van. Then just pull arm down and refit the adjusted assembly back into place.
